“Changing Turkey in a Changing World” examines Turkish politics and society within a global context. It  focuses on the complex relationship between Turkey’s changing internal political, economic and social dynamics and their implications for Turkey’s role in surrounding regions and international affairs. Therefore, its main area of interest is not limited solely to the European or Middle Eastern regions.

This initiative is affiliated with The Centre for Global and Transnational Politics at Royal Holloway University of London.

AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

-produce and disseminate academic research on Turkey

-circulate scholarly information and opinions on Turkish politics and society

-organize academic events such as conferences

-organize essay competitions for junior scholars

-enable academics and policy makers to interlink and communicate


GUIDELINES FOR AUTHORS

Changing Turkey in a Changing World welcomes scholars, students and serious readers who desire to promote and develop knowledge in Turkish society and politics. Our goal is to promote scholarly research on Turkey
and provide opportunities for collaboration in a wide range of academic interests and specialties.

Changing Turkey in a Changing World will not accept contributions that include discriminatory language and propaganda. If you wish to contribute, please make sure that the approach you take is academic (balanced and evidence-based).

Please aim to promote good practice in using language in an inclusive way, which shows respect for, and sensitivity towards, all members of the blog community.

COPYRIGHT remains the property of authors. Permission to reprint must be obtained from the authors and the contents of Changing Turkey in a Changing World cannot be copied for commercial purposes. Changing Turkey in a Changing World does, however, reserve the right to future reproduction of articles in hard copy, portable document format (.pdf), or HTML editions.
